very well done

I love the light and how neatly painted is. Magnific. Interesting composition

Rickert - Thanks so much! Federico - Thank you! I thought I was being somewhat "clever" to include last yrs' image in this new one. I've even thought of a few ways to link next yrs', too (If I'm commissioned again).

Thank you so much, Spencer!

Superb work Skylar and well done on getting the commission.

Clever concept and very well done

Love the light on the vase of flowers Skylar.

Great composition and a nice touch incorporating a previous painting.

Paul - Thanks so very much! I suggested to the council to make this a contest each year, opening it to all in the community. In typical "committee" form, they never came to a conclusion, and just threw it back to me. I am now taking on the process, myself, tho it is ego-boosting to think I could just be the resident artist for the event. However I think I'm just a bit too long in the tooth, being on the verge of 80.

Heather, Carole, Andrew - Thank you very much! It was a bit of ego to reuse last year's image, again.

Such a lovely, peaceful scene Skylar!

Thank you very much, Sarah!

This is so beautiful Skylar and intriguing too.

Thank you so much, Julie! I like your take on this. A very good word "Intriguing".

Love it - very clever!

I was again commissioned to do this year's art festival poster. I chose to use elements I have already painted, and then present the image from last year as part of the new image. Original poster is appx. 22x34 printed on heavy card stock. Other sizes are also available. The festival will be the weekend of Oct. 25-26.
